National Destination Marketing Campaign

Following the success of Visit County Durham’s Do Durham Differently campaign, which reached over 1.6 million consumers and generated millions in additional visitor spend, our latest national destination marketing campaign has launched.

‘Next Stop, Durham’ will inspire those who have travelled through the county, by rail or road, but never visited. Running from autumn 2024 to spring 2025, activity will include online content partnerships with the Manchester Evening News and Birmingham Mail, digital advertising on the east coast mainline, out of home advertising on the London Underground, influencer commissions and media visits.

Delivered in partnership with the county’s tourism businesses, there are a range of cost-effective ways to get involved.
